Join Sunnyland Travel this August as we explore Midwestern Treasures that we do not often think about visiting. Here’s your chance to visit the Kansas Cosmosphere and “Strataca” (the only underground salt mine museum in existence). Fabulous 50’s decor will be highlighted as we tour the iconic Fox Theater. Speaking of iconic, we will also visit the home of Milburn Stone… aka Doc from the popular “Gunsmoke” television series. Our tour wouldn’t be complete without visiting Pioneer Woman Lodge to see where the fantastic cooking show is filmed. See? Who would’ve thought to visit all of these treasures so close to Springfield? Sunnyland Travel, of course! Reserve your seat for this tour right away!

Day 2

We will start off our second day with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, and then head to “Strataca” to tour the only underground salt mine museum. We will have a homemade lunch at the farm at Yoder before taking the Sweet Treat Enroute to the Fox Theater. After our tour, we will return to the hotel to freshen up for dinner at the barn restaurant, located in Burrton, KS, home of Milburn Stone (aka Doc from Gunsmoke). We will finish off the evening with Sunnyland’s private entertainment by the Diamond W Wranglers. (B, L, D)

Day 3

On our final day, we depart for Pawhuska, OK, where we will explore the Pioneer Woman Mercantile. We will meet back up for lunch at the restaurant there and then visit the lodge where the Pioneer Woman cooking show is filmed. After all the excitement, we will finally make our way back home to Springfield. (B, L)
