    Day 1

A beautiful drive through the Ozarks as we head toward historic Paris, Arkansas. Here you will have some free time on the square to shop and enjoy lunch before touring the historic and beautiful Subiaco Abbey and Academy. The Benedictine Monks established their priory over 150 years ago and have merged centuries old religious beliefs with modern technology and educational methods. Be sure to pick up some of their famous peanut brittle and hot sauce in their store, just don’t eat them together! We then continue up the mountain to the stunning Lodge at Mount Magazine. You will have some time to explore the grounds before dinner. Then we have a real treat-a concert by the talented young men of Subiaco and their fabulous jazz band. (D)

    Day 2

After a fabulous breakfast, we drive back north through the beautiful mountains toward the historic and charming city of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Long known as a resort destination where you can take in the “healing waters”, it has a very unique history. Lunch will be served “on the go” aboard the Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway as we take in some of the beautiful Ozarks’ scenery.  We will have a little time for shopping on Main Street before starting back home.
