Day 1, Tuesday, November 30

Today is a travel day as we embark on our Christmas journey towards Covington, KY where we will stay for 3 jolly nights. (D)

Day 2, Wednesday, December 1

Start your morning with a guided tour of Rookwood Pottery. Marvel at the local craftsmanship and stop by the gift shop to bring back beautiful, handmade presents for those who made this year’s “nice list”. Enjoy a private luncheon on a climate-controlled riverboat with live music that is sure to get your hands clapping and feet tapping! After lunch, we make our way to the Creation Museum. This 70,000 square foot “walk through history” museum is where you will discover an interpretation of how science confirms biblical history. Enjoy a turkey dinner at Noah’s Café and take a stroll through the museum’s botanical gardens. Amid the breathtaking display of thousands of multi-colored lights, experience a live Nativity event that provides a glimpse into the events surrounding the birth of Christ.  (B, L, D) Christmas Town Images Ark1 (002) 4mp A

Day 3, Thursday, December 2

This morning we devour a holiday themed breakfast feast before we make our way to the historic Cincinnati Museum Center. Learn the long and storied history of the Union Terminal and enjoy the Duke Energy Train Display. This holiday train exhibit is home to one of the world’s largest portable model train layouts. After enjoying a sit-down lunch, we will spend the afternoon touring the Ark Encounter. This full-sized replica of Noah’s Ark is a massive, climate controlled, wooden structure that measures 510 feet long and more than 50 feet tall. Explore the museum, enjoy dinner at Emzara’s, and visit the large gift store that offers extensive fair-trade items. As the night falls upon the Ark, you will encounter the wonder of Christmas with an unforgettable evening of festive lights, gift shopping and more.  (B, L, D)ark-encounter-exterior-1

Day 4, Friday, December 3

Wave goodbye to Covington, KY as we travel to St. Louis, MO. Tonight, revel in one last lighting display at the St. Louis Botanical Gardens. Over one million lights will illuminate the night’s traditional Christmas festivities. Leave some cookies out for Santa tonight, because tomorrow we journey home.
