Day 1

Take off from Springfield and make your way to Cincinnati, Ohio for a spectacular 4 days! After a few stops on the way, we will arrive at our destination in the evening and visit the very first Hofbrauhaus in the United States! Enjoy the German ambiance and see why it fits in so well with the atmosphere of the Cincinnati area’s German heritage. After wonderful food and entertainment. We will depart for the hotel for a late check-in. Rest up! We have an exciting couple of days ahead! (D)

Day 2

This morning we will have a big buffet breakfast and then tour the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, a one-third replica of the Notre Dame, in Paris!! This is one of only 35 basilicas in the country and is considered the most beautiful! The Cathedral is watched over by 26 gargoyles that were carved in Italy! We will make our way next to The Krohn Conservatory! There are countless poinsettias featured in the Christmas Show and the Poinsettia Tree is a sight to behold.  Little trains work their way across bridges, through flowers, around the little cottages…touches like this make the display unique. Then it’s “All-Aboard” your private luncheon cruise with live music!! And this afternoon is a visit to the Creation Museum!! Here you will enjoy tickets to the Stargazer’s Planetarium, walk through the Garden of Eden, view The Last Adam, a powerful presentation, and experience the newly renovated 4D Special Effects Theater with 2 options: In Six Days and Encounter the Wonder!! There are also excellent exhibits to view, and you will dine this evening in Noah’s Cafe. After dinner stroll through beautiful gardens that will be strung with lights. This is truly an incredible and unique experience you will have here with Sunnyland! (B, L, D)

Day 3

This morning, after breakfast, experience the beauty and intricacy of Rookwood Pottery firsthand on the Rookwood Factory and Market tour! Join a knowledgeable guide that will share the intriguing history of Rookwood Pottery in the Queen City, and you will learn the story behind the famous name. See the greatest craftsman at work and find out what makes each piece of Rookwood Pottery so very special. Our next stop is at Patriots Landing, which is a veteran services complex in Grant County, Kentucky, with a Veterans Carpentry Shop and Training Center.  The Showroom at Patriots Landing will be like no other! During your visit, you can spend some time enjoying our military memorabilia displays and be able to view our woodshop and the veterans who are working in our shop. Every purchase will allow one more product to be made, and one more veteran to be helped as 100% of the proceeds go directly back into our veterans’ programs. We will then depart for Kellie’s Homestead, have a seat in their themed Ole Kentucky home, and enjoy a delicious lunch.  After your meal, check out the Amish fudge, candy and bakery items for sale. And this afternoon, we will finally get to experience the ARK Encounter!! The full-sized replica of Noah’s Ark is a massive wooden structure, the largest wooden timber structure IN THE WORLD, and is 510 feet long and more than 50 feet tall! Walk through the structure and learn about what it may have actually been like in Noah’s day! This self-paced tour does require walking but there are benches available for resting. With so much to do and see in this massive boat, we will spend the rest of our day here. When evening comes, we will enjoy a dinner buffet at Emzara’s Kitchen and then watch as the night falls upon the Ark and an unforgettable evening of festive lights begins. Spend your time gift shopping, including an extensive fair-trade market, a stroll through Ararat Ridge Zoo, and more. Better have your camera ready! The view is remarkably photogenic as you take in Noah’s ark, the lake, and the gardens illuminated in an all-new, remarkable sea of rainbow-colored lights! (B, L, D)

Day 4

This morning, we will enjoy one last big buffet breakfast and head home with stuffed bellies and full hearts! Enjoy the show of lights again every time you close your eyes and get ready to tell everyone back home all you learned on this incredible tour! We guarantee they will want to experience it too! (B)
