This yearly event includes jaw dropping displays of over 5,000 professionally carved jack-o-lanterns transformed into works of art lighting a one-third mile trail. Sip a little Evan Williams Bourbon and swing away at the Louisville Slugger museum and factory. We will also enjoy a Dinner Theatre Show and so much more! This tour has been offered as a Mystery tour in the past and was so popular, it is now being offered again for you to enjoy!

Day 1, Wednesday, October 28, 2020
We will depart Springfield this morning to begin our journey toward Louisville, Kentucky. After a lovely lunch, sit back and enjoy the fall colors and scenery. We will arrive in Louisville this evening so that you may relax and enjoy your first of three nights in this lovely city. (L)

Day 2, Thursday, October 29, 2020
Day two begins after breakfast with a tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum and factory. Baseball fans – From the forest to the field, you’ll follow the timber that’s turned into hard hitting history! From Ted Williams to Babe Ruth, the Bat Vault contains unique treasures for baseball fans that can’t be seen anywhere else. Then we are off to Joe Huber’s Farm for a wagon ride tour and lunch experience. We hope you are ready for some made from scratch home cooking! There will be plenty of fall photo opportunities for the photographers in the group and a little shopping for some homemade jams and apple butter. Tonight you will experience the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Iroquois Park. This is a “must see to believe” experience with over 5,000 pumpkins masterfully carved and lit along the one-third mile trail with a variety of spooky and dazzling decorations in the great outdoors, this seasonal spectacular provides amazing family-friendly fun. Day 3, Friday, October 30, 2020
Another beautiful fall day to see the sights! Beautiful fall scenery, some fun shopping opportunities will also be included today. We will enjoy the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience Tour and Tasting this afternoon before our Dinner Theatre Show at the Derby Dinner Playhouse. A mystery show is on the agenda – should be lots of fun for all! (B,L,D)
Day 4, Saturday, October 31, 2020
We will head home today after a jam packed itinerary in Louisville the past couple of days. We will stop for a “Thank you for Choosing Sunnyland Travel” lunch on our way to Springfield and arrive back home early evening. (B,L)

If you require assistance in walking, navigating stairs, etc., you are required to travel with a qualified physically-able companion who can accompany and provide such assistance. Due to many historic locations, the motor coach is not allowed to stay on site or remain running to provide an alternate shelter for those not able to participate in an event.
